Trying the blogger app for the first time

Spending lots of time with my family, currently living with my loving grandma, planning my education, job and thinking about getting my own place. Really quite excited about New Years as it's always so much fun. Feeling grateful for a good 2012. Being happy and trying to figure out how to change the things that makes me unhappy.

Moments from the past few days

 1/4 - Celebrated a friend's birthday at Wagamama in Hampstead with the new Chu Chee Curry and frozen yoghurt for dessert. At first we went to see the Christmas Tree ligthening at Trafalgar Square and then we ate and talked the night away. It was a very lovely evening spent in gorgeous company x

2/4 - Saw these pretty christmas decorations at the sweetest little café in Hampstead. Very pleasent thing to look at while eating lunch and getting warm.

3/4 - My roommate bought us some candlelights and we spent the evening listening to Christmas music with the lights turned off and the candlelights lit.

4/4 - I had these mazing scrambled eggs today in a little café we found in Hampstead. Had a sausage and green tea as well, it kept me full for the entire day :)

My daily life seen through my phone

1) After seeing hundreds of cards saying "From Nanna & grandad" and the bank lady telling how her grandchildren call her by 'Nanna' I have come to the decision that I shall be called by my middle name here in the UK. Hence Emma on my Starbucks cup (chai latte nonfat, my fave)

2) Lovely bunting on streets. Not quite sure if they mean anything but they were definitely pretty.

 3) + 4) If Selfridges can decorate for Christmas in October I can listen to Christmas songs. 

5) Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and a Chocolate Frog. They've only got one good jump in them haven't they?

6) Visiting Camden Market

7) I've been spending a rather big amount of time in the underground (sounds like I'm some kind of evil creature)

8) Recently discovered my new favourite candle smell! Cinnamon stick, it's literally Christmas and Cosiness in a jar. Treating myself this bad boy as soon as I get my first pay.

9) New floral mug from Cath Kidston, it was my first time ever in one of their shops and my friend had to drag me out of there. Really want a foral pajamas from their shop!

10) Fab candle cakes in Liberty.

11) LA Burger with avocado, cottage cheese and spicey nachos. We splurged a little that day and went for a big lunch.

12) New floral shoulder bag from Urban Outfitters. It was originally 28 pounds but I found it in the sale for only 5. It's not very Autumn-ish though but I always love a good floral item so I bought it and will probably use it for Spring or Summer.

A job interview flew my way

Five days of intense job hunting has lead me to a job interview! This makes a very happy Nanna Emma even happier :)

All though I did buy these new cosy socks and pajamas trousers before I knew about the job interview I'm wearing them now while watching Lord of the Rings in bed as a small celebration. If someone could just please bring me a cuppa and some orange chocolate that would be perfect :)

London calls me a stranger, a traveller - Ed

01. YooMoo yoghurt icecream! Didn't have lunch so this was a more than fairly good substitute x
02. Notting Hill. Went there today to have a little look at the Portobello Market . Stopped by Poundland and bought a few necessities as well.

04. Fun halloween display at Marks & Spencer! They don't really celebrate halloween in Denmark but my mum and I have for almost ten years so it's really fun to see so much halloween related here in the UK :)

I've been handing out my CV's today (and yesterday as well) and I'm actually quite excited about it. Feeling very confident that I'll have a job in the very near future (knock on wood) and I actually love every single place I've sought for employment. I won't talk too much about it 'cause I don't want to jinx anything. But keep your fingers crossed for me please!
